A Good Start

I'll start by saying that the graphics are very nice, all of the ships look decent, as well as the backgrounds. The pilots look a little strange though. Now for the critisims, the ships all look different, but the handlings seem almost identical and I could not easily tell exactly what was different about them except for their appearance and size. The race tracks were very bland and boring, granted it is a demo, but there was nothing interesting about the tracks themselves. A suggestion I might make would be to insert boosters, objects in the way, something to actually require some skill or reflex. I was pretty bored while driving the things, I'm not sure how you are imagining they are propelled, but I might suggest some kind of sound effect to go with the driving, and a glowing at the back to suggest a jet? The speed could be increased to make the game more engaging and intense as well.

Great Game With Steep Learning Curve

This game is very fun and well made. At first it is a bit confusing, but after a bit of time you catch on and begin to have fun. The graphics and very nice and the gameplay is rewarding and well-designed. The difficulty is high, so patience is required, but in the end you will find a great game here.

Slow Paced Shooter

The set-up for this game seems as it would be a decently action-packed shooter, but I found myself more often frustrated and bored while playing it. Frequently, the guns would not fire, forcing me to back off from the enemies and click my mouse several times before it would fire again. The combat seemed very unfair and slanted heavily towards the enemy. The opponents would have their backs to the entrance, and when I stepped into the room, they would whirl around and fire with pinpoint accuracy while my supposedly automatic gun slowly chugged out rounds at awkward angles. The only way to successfully take out foes was to put the cursor on them, duck out of cover, fire a round or two, then hide again, repeating until they die. I found this method of gameplay very dull and irritating at some points as the bullets moved very slowly, even when playing at normal speed. I also noticed several spelling and grammatical errors on the menus and options, which disappointed me to see that a "final" product would be released that had such obvious mistakes out in clear view. In conclusion, BLACK 2 seemed to have a good idea that was not pulled off right and had rough edges that needed smoothing.

I'm one of the top-rated Nathan Burgesses in the world.
